What is Invalid URL Error ? How to Solve it?

URL stands for Universal Resource Locator. It gives a link which can either be on a web page or in mail. The URL directs the link to go on to web or mail.
The correct URL format should be any one of the following forms:
http://www.example.com
http://www.example.com/
http://www.example.com/page.jsp
http://www.example.com/page.jsp?QueryString

Invalid URL means that the format of the URL was invalid.
For going to any particular location on the computer, we use a file://link. A link will work in a browser or an e-mail if and only if it points somewhere on the Internet.

If someone sends a message with file://link, none of his subscribers will be able to click on that link. This leads to the composer producing an error, and ultimately failure to send the message.

For finding out where the file://link is located, one should click the button at the end of the third row of buttons (says HTML). This will provide the message having HTML source. The box needs to be clicked afterwards and  Find  in the browser s menu should be selected. On typing  file:  it will show which of the links is a file:// link.
The link needs to be rectified before sending the message. In order to rectify the link, one needs to redirect the link to a URL which starts with  http:// . It is

mandatory to make sure that the link opens in his or her web browser.
The ideal steps that should be followed are:

Deleting all history, cookies, temporary internet files
Flushing the DNS with ipconfig/ flushdns
Rebooting the computer
Updating web browser
Restarting wireless router
Follow few more following steps
Open Command cmd Prompt

Type ipconfig / all

Scroll and find circled text (note : your number is different)

Note of the last 2 sets of number

Go to Network and Sharing Center

Click on the Properties

select option Use the following DNS server addresses"
Type the last 2 sets of numbers that we took note of earlier.

Select checkbox Validate settings upon exit.
